A few days ago I got another pet to add to the collection. A rat, named Ovex.
My mother and father are horrified that I would want a rodent as a pet, but I don't really get it they didn't have a problem with the pet mice I used to have or the ferrets that I kept. Sure they never found out about my pet spiders but still.

I have a few animals, and Ovex is just the new addition. There are 2 horses, 3 goats, 4 dogs, 5 cats, 1 axolotl, 1 black moor, 5 rabbits, 9 ducks, too many chickens, 6 cows, 1 sulfur crested cokcatoo, 8 budgies and the list goes on and hopefully by the end of the year I'll be getting another ferret.

I don't see how some of my animals can creep people out and not others, I mean sure the rotti and heeler scare people but thats about it, and the cats annoy people but why be scared of a tiny little adolescent rat?

Mum runs when I place Ovex on my shoulder and walk around the house and my dad is just as squeemish but I can't understand it. I told them it was either the rat or i get a license for a spider or a python. Guess hte rat was the least terrifying.
