That's what I said I said "We are all FANS regardless of what kind of fan, at least that's what I think." So it really doesn't matter. It's just like with different genre's in music, you can't get away from a description of ones music based on the genres (Black Metal, Gothic Metal, Thrash, Stoner etc) whether you like it or not labels are here and here to stay. Plus what I said was just MY definitions of fans, and shouldn't be taken as gospel. It was not intended to "separate" the fans just to label and I do realize lots of folks hate labels, but like I said they are here to stay, I use them all the time to judge what I will listen too. But again that is me.

As for Keal's question, as for me I won't say I am the biggest fan simply because I need alot of money to be, you know to buy every piece of merchandise available, again by my definition of big fan. Others may see big fan as different meaning and that's cool, I don't mind.

either way, why does it really matter? if any of us didnt like cradle in one way, shape or form, none of us would be here. why should anyone mind some enthusiasm from a fan?

For fucks sake? What, you don't like fans of COF? Than what the fuck are you doing here? Or are you one of the regular fans that only like the old stuff and are somehow offended by my definitions on what a fan should be? Either way that was a dumb comment. Next time elaborate so we know what you are bitching about. All COF fans should be cool to one another but posts like yours make it hard to remain civil. It smacks of "Oh god not another who is a fan who is not a fan discussion" as if there is something wrong with letting folks know your own opinion on something, in this case what fans are. My definition of fan is not gospel it is MINE, if folks agree with it cool. If not I would like to know what their definitions are, seriously. No need to bring the asshole like tendencies out, it's all good we are all COF fans. We should all be friends, regardless if we like it all, only like the old or only like the new, COF is COF no matter what era. We are all FANS regardless of what kind of fan, at least that's what I think.

Than you like Thornography and Nymphetamine and most importantly their cover of "Temptation". Don't have to be your favorites but you have to at least enjoy them. Which is cool cause I do. I really couldn't call myself a big COF fan if I didn't like those. I'd only be able to call myself a regular fan. Not enjoying particular songs or albums doesn't necessarily make you not a fan just doesn't make you a big fan which I still am so far at least in my opinion, gotta add that to make sure folks don't think I am telling them how to be a fan, this is just me, my definitions.

Otherwise if you hate or dislike those you are just a regular or casual fan or just love the old stuff and are just a regular fan if that's the case to be a big fan you have to agree that so far COF have done no wrong, have made no bad albums or songs (as I think). I will lose my big fan status once (I hope to hell it never happens)they make a suckass song or album. But that's just what I think a "big fan" is. What do you consider a big fan (I don't mean fans with money that buys every piece of merchandise with the COF logo, like the candy or if you are a single dude buying the COF panties. That borders on the OBSESSED fan, I'd probably be an obsessed fan had I the money for all the merch)?
