I have been asked to post this statement on behalf of a Bloodstock backstage crew member who saw what happened :

To set the record straight; Bloodstock; Paul was hit by a "jawbreaker gobstopper" which might as well have been a cricket ball, nearly as big, it’s as hard as a pool ball.
