Cradle of Filth is an extreme metal band formed in Suffolk, United Kingdom, formed in1991. His musical style whose classification has caused much controversy, 1 evolvedfrom the death metal of their early demos to a cleaner and better amalgamation"produced" comprising gothic metal, symphonic black metal and other extreme metalstyles. Their lyrical themes and imagery are heavily influenced by gothic literature,poetry, mythology and horror films. The band has successfully broken its niche by courting mainstream publicity (often to the chagrin of their fans), and this has resulted inan increase in coverage by magazines like Kerrang! and MTV, frequent stage appearances at major festivals such as Ozzfest, Download and even the Sziget Festival,together with a more "commercial. " They have sometimes been perceived as satanic,but their references to Satanism are few and far between, and use of satanic imagerycertainly has always had more to do with creating a strong impression with their beliefs.According to Metal Hammer magazine, is the British metal band since Iron mostsuccessful Maiden.2
Currently the band consists of vocalist Dani Filth bassist Dave Pybus, guitarists PaulAllender and James MciIlroy, and Martin Skaroupka drums.
