Some of the best written lyrics I have heard are Cradle's. The words tell a story so sophisticated and vivid. Some other lyrics that I like are from The Black Dahlia Murder.

A certain song from Dahlia is "deathmask divine" which is a beautifully written song.It is about the death of a soulmate and not wanting to let go.
