I'm not exactly what you'd call a typical metalhead or goth... in fact a lot of my friends would tell you that I'm neither. I choose to live outside conventional labels and restrictions, and I'm sure I step on quite a few toes to do so. I'm geeky, kinky, off-the-wall and just plain weird, and proud of all of it.

My hobbies are pretty much an affirmation of my dork-itude. I like writing, reading, LARPing, cruising the interwebs, partying with friends, cosplaying, attending conventions/concerts/plays and watching Syfy/Space channel movies.

My fave bands are Cradle of Filth, Cain's Offering, Nightwish, Tarot, Sonata Arctica, Eluveitie, Moonspell, Poisonblack, Finntroll, Dragonforce, Godsmack, Alestorm, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, David Bowie, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper, HIM, Type O Negative, Shinedown, Voltaire, Emilie Autumn, The Dresden Dolls, Jack Off Jill, Danny Elfman, The Decemberists, The Magnetic Fields, Jonathon Coulton, Lemon Demon, The Protomen, brentalfloss, Abingdon Boys School, Dir En Grey, Green Day, Blink-182, MEST, MxPx, Nerf Herder, New Found Glory, Offspring and Paramore.

My favourite movies are Labyrinth, The Princess Bride, Willow, Ever After, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Corpse Bride, Interview With The Vampire, Pan's Labyrinth, Silence of the Lambs, American History X, all the Star Trek movies, and pretty much anything with Johnny Depp or Edward Norton in it.

On TV I watch Bones, Star Trek TNG or DS9, Big Bang Theory, Sanctuary, Warehouse 13, Spartacus, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Two and a Half Men, and cartoons from the 80's and 90's.
