+WHAT ELSE+

I've been a Black Metal fan for about 20 years now. In my daily life, I make my living working for a wholesale auto packaging company near Detroit here, come home, play my violin, and count the days 'til the weekend!

I am a devout LaVeyan, and I started to collect Rare and antiquarian books as a small-time hobby (16th-21st century Occultism), but it has grown into a more serious, "I will own an Occult library" type of affair; and I have one of the most extensive collections of horror movies you may ever see (stop by sometime, Dani - I know you like your flicks, dude).

I really enjoy spending time with friends and my family (great people), and camping in the middle of nowhere whenever I get the chance (which is most weekends in the summer time). I don't go to many shows anymore, but I DID see Cradle last time they were in town - great fuckin' show. So darkly darkly.........

Black Violin Stuff

I wanted to post something on Violins in the Black Metal world, as I have already been asked by a few peeps "What type of strings", or "What type of violin" ???

I always tell people the same thing on these subjects, and that is this:

Use any and all resources you can afford or have at your disposal. Get the best you can - and do what sounds good to you.

I'm sure there are a lot of instrumentalists of one sort or another out here, and if you have a violinist in your band,…

Surprised the book hasn't sold yet tbh? 3 days to go but I think it will sell :)
Worst mistake was when I needed some bucks and sold my 1928A1 Thompson complete with pistol grip fore-end and Cutts compensator for $1,000. Originally dated by serial number manufactured 1928 ... they are worth a fortune now! Even the big Southern US gun shops can't pick up that version. I BLEW IT and every time I see one in the movies I feel sick. I never watch "Dick Tracy" movie etc ... urrrgh

Actually, I have taken and posted about 8 other pics - including my 1790 Paradise Lost - but the network administrator keeps taking them off my page. Not quite sure of why....but perhaps to avoid some kind of copyright issue.

I'll keep trying tho, my friend....

Saw Led Zeppelin live, Sydney in '72 ... played for nearly 3 1/2 hrs!  Two songs from Randwick in Sydney can be seen on their 2DVD set. Also saw Page and Plant (No Quarter Tour) around the same time you did too, with the little orchestra and the Moroccan's etc ... it was different to Zep, but well worth seeing. They were still awesome, I forgot how good they were until they walked on stage and it all came flooding back *lol*
