Ancient Cradle fan from the Isle of Wight, in the UK. Im old, disabled and housebound - but I do have my music, Writing (horror), Computer (although Im still trying to find "The Sick Room"), Crafts. I hit my 45th Birthday last August (2008) I was a semi pro performer playing the (uniquely exciting) Hotel and Club Circuit on the Isle of Wight. I played conventional music mainly, some rock. I am a Singer foremost but also play Rhythm Guitar some lead and Bass (played Bass for ten years). I had a motorcycle accident in 1989 near Cambridge and broke my neck, but amazingly I walked away. It did, Unfortunately come back to haunt me and I had to give up playing live Music in November 2006 when my back gave out on me completely.
I moved to the Island in 1990 from Cambridge I spent the first part of my life growing up in Haverhill in Suffolk, so have a fair knowledge of the bands stomping ground (it was mine once!).
I live with my partner on the Island and spend my time with my music. I am a huge fan of Cradle (obviously) and Black Metal. Fave Bands are Cradle, Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Panzerchrist, Arch Enemy, Arsis, Belphegor, Goatwhore... you get the picture! Cradle & Dimmu are played daily, as they have been for the past ten years. Too old to be a Goth but was there in '77 when Punk started - so I do have some provenance.
Im a huge fan of Horror, SciFi and Fantasy Movies, and of all things craft related, love art especially Fantasy art. I often wonder if I am the oldest Cradle Fan, but I doubt it! I still feel 18 in my head, just my body that has screwed me over...
