I first discovered Cradle of Filth back in 2000. I commented on a fellow's Type O Negative shirt, and he suggested Cradle of Filth to me. I had previously been shown "Dusk..... And Her Embrace" a couple years before this. I didn't get to listen to the album, I was just shown the jewel case, and some of the photo's from the booklet.
My first two Cradle of Filth albums were "Dusk...." and "Cruelty".
I work part time at a Japanese/sushi restraunt, and I am a part time student. I am working on an Associate's degree in science, and I am planning on transferring to a four-year college to get a Bachelor's (and then a Master's) degree in Computer Science.
I enjoy coffee, cigarettes, and music, as well as using the internet. I am currently listening to "The P3 Session", which is a live recording included in Dimmu Borgir's "The Invaluable Darkness" dvd.

Preface
In the year 1889 a learned expositor of Kabbalistic doctrines edited in English a work on Ceremonial Magic, entitled Clavicula Salomonis, or, the “Key of Solomon the King.” In an introduction prefixed to the work her stated that he saw no reason to doubt, and therefore presumably accepted, the tradition of its authorship[1]. Mr. Mathers, it should be added, undertook his translation more especially for the use of occult students, that…

I had two short video chats with my friend April. She wanted to see a rendering that I'd done for my Theatre 101 class. The rendering was no where near the level of skill that I'd seen on April's Face Book photo's. Probably because I didn't put forth enough time and effort. April is quite the artist though. I bet she took some art classes in high school. Graduating from high school seems to have some real benefits.
I'm listening to 'Under the Running Board' by The Dillinger Escape…

The Great Martyr Barbara lived and suffered during the reign of the Emperor Maximian in the early years of the 4th century. Her pagan father Dioscorus was so protective of her that he placed her in a tower so that she could have no contact with anyone he considered to be unworthy. Alone in her tower, Barbara would often ponder the beauty of creation that she could study from her lofty perch. She was able to reach the conclusion that all of this was the work of the One, True…

On November 18/December 1, our Holy Orthodox Church commemorates two saints who didn't know each other in life, but who shared the same conviction for standing up for Christ and His teachings. On this day, we commemorate the Martyrs Plato and Romanus.
Plato lived in the 3rd century in Galatia. At a time when it was dangerous to do so, he openly practiced his Christian faith. He denounced the pagans for their idol worship, for which he was arrested and brought before the…
