Zombie Apocalypse?
what do you guys think about it? i'm saying an actual viral outbreak, kinda like 28 days later, but worse.
this isn't one of those "what would you do threads" either, this is just speculation about the possibility of it happening. the fact is, the rabies virus, if contained properly, could create it. a strain of malaria has been seen in the middle east, and south africa that made people go crazy, maybe not zombie-like, but definitively crazy for about ten minutes before they dropped dead. of course i don't know for a fact that it happened, but it was on CNN so i would assume...
but anyway...discuss?

that i can agree with. it's good to know that someone is knowledgeable when it comes to viruses. alot of the people i know think that crutchfield jacobs could also be mutated to create zombies, but a good half of the zombies would be completely brain dead.
i for one would actually like to live to see the apocalypse, but i am of the mind that humans are more like a plague on this earth than any thing else. that's not to say that there aren't good people out there, but what we are doing to this planet is atrocious.

i really don't have much sympathy left. a zombie apocalypse would be great. it's selective, rather than a nuke wiping us all out. if there are flesh eating monsters running around only the intelligent will survive, making room to create the world as it should have been, and once was. living off of the land, no television, no computer, none of this stupid crap that everyone seems to think they need. however i do realize that eventually we will just go back to our old ways and rebuild, fix the old tech that we had, and bring back what we have now. it's a nice thought though.
