It had some potential, but was ruined by band members gurning and some really poorly-judged special effects.  Same with most of their videos, really.

 

I think Forgive Me Father would have been a strong contender if it weren't for Dani arsing about.

"Babalon A.D." because the cinematography for the video was brilliant. I like the outside perspective (the camera and I suppose the cleaning woman), but also you get, Adrian's (the small hand-held camera) perspective of what is happening. I am aware that this video is based off de Sade's, 120 Days of Sodom. The editing is a bit choppy, but it suits the video's chaotic undertones.

 

I also like "Her Ghost in the Fog." It's kind of Tim Burton-esqe.

Everyone likes this one, for some reason my purist (old fashioned?) musical video ideas seem to inhibit my liking it, strange I don't as I see how it fits the song and so on  ... but not my fave. I suppose I'm just the odd one out but that is what made me a fan of Cradle LOL

Ehh ... that's what Dani kept saying.  It's nothing like de Sade's version, but everything's taken from the 1970s film Saló which was a very loose adaptation of it.

Forgive Me Father had fantastic production and video quality, but something about the finished product just didn't quite work out for me. Honey and Sulphur and Lilith Immaculate also had massive potential, but were both wrecked by awful editing.

 

I also say Babalon AD, but a special place in my heart sits for the classic From the Cradle...

Scorhed Earth Erotica. Why? Because it's got hokey poses and classic low budget gore in it. What more could you want? Oh, and Dani looked just plain cool in it. lol
