It's so interesting for me...
What do you think about this theme?
Why the Evil must be ugly, often?

I take of a neutral position at present.
But I would like to know your opinion on it.
Probably, that in discussion of this question somebody will be possible
to state the opinion precisely enough
that yet I did not meet when asks this question.
...............
I wait for your opinions...
;D

"For beauty is always cruel"

I do not think that there is pure evil and pure good. And they are always a subjective thing.

Evil is something bad, ugliness is something bad, thus people will picture evil as an ugly thing. The best examples are fairytales. However, this is just a normal association of the human brain. I see no relation between evil and ugly.
It's just a way to emphasize bad. Think about it where do you find "evil" that is ugly? In the media. In reality evil, well evil people at least, aren't always ugly. When you see something that is ugly generally you will feel negatively towards it. It's just part of sending a message, people for whatever reason automatically think ugly is bad, for instance we are not attracted to ugly people ( unless of course you have gotten to know said person but generally not attracted). So when someone wants to send the message in say a movie that this person is evil they make them ugly to push you towards having negative feelings for the character. Also in stories, movies, etc. some evil things are not ugly at first, some people portray sirens as the embodiment of beauty...until you get to close once in their grasp they are hideous crones trying to kill you...something trying to kill you is bad to push you further into believing sirens are bad they turn them ugly. The siren example is also trying to prove that temptation is a bad thing, you followed it because it was beautiful and now look what happened.
The dolls are one of few beautiful images of a harm...
But I want to know another more.
You correctly understand an essence of a question.
I would like to ask you still.
As you consider that is more strongly angrily or kindly? аnd why you so consider?
What is more strongly angrily or kindly?
...аnd why you so consider?
I ask "why" and "for what" the evil image ugly?
P.S. ...and sorry for my english)))
Hey!!!
I full agree with U!
in my opinion, first of all when you look at good and evil being black and white, you can look at everything and see both.So in my opinion, it is all shades of gray, some may be a little darker than others, but still a shade of gray. And when it comes down to good and evil; every word I have been preached or told about good and heaven, is my hell. People may think I am evil, but I do not do harm to others, and the things I like in this life such as partying and fun, is the only true beauty in this hell of a life I lead. There for showing that societies evil is actually beautiful, and the christians aspect of good being so hatefilled, greedy, discriminative, and contradictive is ugly,so evil is not ugly in my eyes, I think charcoal gray is a beautiful color in which I am glad to have in my life, because that is where true happiness and respect lies.
Actually in its finest form, evil is anything but ugly. It is deception , lies, false promises, perjury , inaccuracy , misrepresentation , ect .
That's fake evil.

Real evil is attractive. That's what makes it evil. Evil isn't just bad; it's bad, but it looks good. It's appealing. It justifies itself. You think to yourself "well, the bad part isn't so bad, and think of the good it could do".

Case in point: people are starving.

Let's kill them.

Hey, they're starving anyway. They'll probably die. Most of them will, anyway. They're suffering every day, and it's real suffering, not the kind of pathetic crap we call suffering in the Real World. Isn't it better if they die now, instead of next week after suffering more than you or I can quite fathom? Wouldn't the world be better off that way? I mean, look - once you kill all the starving people in this village, their village is deserted. We could tear it down, and make way for a resort, or a factory, or something like that. Maybe there's oil here! We could do a survey, once they're all dead. And look at the problems that disappear - we don't have to try and feed them, we don't have to treat their diseases, they don't need clean water, or education, or medicine, or sympathy. We could just kill these people, and everyone would be better off for it.

THAT is evil. Evil makes good sense, really, when you just turn off the fundamental idea that people have value because they are people even if they don't produce or consume or even have much fun. Which is why corporations - which have no hearts and no souls - tend to do a lot of evil. Business people pride themselves on turning off that fundamental idea to make business decisions.
