Who is the best drummer cradle has had, and what is the best drumming record?

Adrian was very good but there was something missing in his drumming. Nick barker is very fast, but did not drum as good as he did in Dimmu, he also didn't have many splash cymbals, they add more diversity and color to the drumming. In my opinion Martin has been Cradle's best drummer. He is incredible, he makes cradle songs sound better and he is really diverse in his drumming. My favorite drumming record by cradle is godspeed, but dusk and median have great drumming also.

But see Nicks sound was kind of distorted on Dusk and could have been better on Cruelty.

I mean damn have any of you watched Marthus's videos on youtube??? He is like one with his drumset and not one sec almost he isnt doing anything with his hands. His cymbol work blew me away, its amazing how he puts that shit in every single time whatever hes doing.

Nick on the other hand has fast ass double bass where it seems like hes not moving his feet at all as well as awesome fills. Plus he has a bigger kit.

So for me its a tie between Nick and Marthus
Yes, have watched all of Mathus' drum cam vids, agree ... yet he makes it look so easy, smooth ...
Yeah and he always seems like he plays at 150% every show.

I think Marthus does TOO much. Every couple of seconds hes flicking around on the splashes and chinas and doesn't let up. His drums aren't very memorable because he's doing too many accents and flutters, he doesn't concentrate on actually using his drums effectively to fit with the atmosphere of the songs.

Nick had every bit the ability that Marthus does but he used it sparingly, when he used those accents and suchlike he used them effectively and when they came out of the songs they struck you. He knew when to be slow and brooding, fast and savage, heavy and powerfull and techical and complicated.
Well Nick isn't in a 'Big' band anymore. If Marthus were to leave the band I would really love to see Nick take back his throne once more.
Being a drummer and having been influenced by Cradle of Filth from a young age, it was Nick who influenced me more than anything and when he left the band it carved a very deep scar in the music and took allot away from the band for me. Adrian was good, Mathus is better than Adrian but neither will ever beat Nick for me because he is the drummer who was there when I started listening to the band and he is the one who influenced me and played on my favourite albums. I really believe that if Nick was to return to the band we would hear a big difference. Stuart will never return on guitars but Nick's return on drums could be a possibility someday and I would certainly call that the next best thing.
I love Martins fills. They make the atmosphere sound big.

Nick is playing and living now on south american country Chile, playing drums on the chilean trash band Criminal:
Adrian was definitely the best. Midian had really nice percussion but so did Dusk....
Im wondering...if Marthus had a bigger set, would he be a force to reckoned with? I mean he already is but im just saying..
You can give the worst drummer on earth the biggest drum set in the world and that wouldn't change the fact that he's the worst drummer on earth. It's about skill and creativity, not the equipment you have.
