Who is the best drummer cradle has had, and what is the best drumming record?
Adrian was very good but there was something missing in his drumming. Nick barker is very fast, but did not drum as good as he did in Dimmu, he also didn't have many splash cymbals, they add more diversity and color to the drumming. In my opinion Martin has been Cradle's best drummer. He is incredible, he makes cradle songs sound better and he is really diverse in his drumming. My favorite drumming record by cradle is godspeed, but dusk and median have great drumming also.

Iwould have to disagree witchya. Adrian has been the best so far, martin definitely comin in a very close 2nd.

Nick Barker. And I think his work with Cradle is better than the one with Dimmu.
Dusk and her Embrace has the best drumming imo.
Martin is awesome too!

i think nick was the best for cradle. martin is a great drummer but every other cymbal hit is a splash. splashes are great cymbals and they add alot of flavour to a song but they don't provide the intensity of a crash or a china. the best drumming record would be cruekty and the beast because it's the most fun to play drums to in my opinion.

Nick doesnt use many splash cymbals? Are you mad? Nick Barker pretty much pioneered the whole double ride & splash accents that so many drummers use these days, including martin. Being a drummer I love all three but I would say that Barker is the best drummer to have played with Cradle. From a techincal point of view he was immense and he was only 24 by the time Cruelty was released!
Adrian is a great drummer, very powerful but he wasnt intricate enough on the barker material. Martin would be second in my opinion because I feel he plays the old Cradle stuff better than Adrian did, not necesarily meaning he is a better drummer overall.
I think the best work drumming wise is creulty (i agree with Tepes that this is the most fun to play), but Godspeed is a great performance and I think Adrian really excelled on Midian.

Nick did use splash cymbals when he drummed for cradle, but not as well and as much as Martin...my opinion

I have always been a fan of Nick Barker, but the Godpeed record is even better. Now that I have seen Martin live I can say that he is the best drummer ever! I hope he stays with cradle.

nickolas barker...i like his style and i still like him although he become dimmu borgir drummer........and i like C.O.F when dusk and her embrace perfomance!!! they have different style, stronger and full emotion
