My favorites are Nymphetamine and Dusk and Her Embrace. I bought a double CD months ago...it was LoveCraft and WitchHearts. And I love the music on there as well. Either way it goes...Cradle is goin to be popular regardless. Agreed?! haha. =)
I'd have to say Nymphetamine, namely because the single really opened them up beyond the usual underground fan base they always enjoyed. Being a less 'brutal' song, it helped to open them to an audience they may not have otherwise found. As much as I love, say sweetest malefecia...Nyphetamine is easier on the ears for most people lol

Midian.

Her Ghost In The Fog did it.

Cruelty And The Beast had impact but mostly on the active metal community.
Nymphetamine Fix
First "big" breakthrough in my opinion was Midian. Large production boost, biggest tour for them at the time, more accessible, plus the music video for "Her Ghost in the Fog" promoted the band further on MTV2 etc. Their next huge burst of popularity was Nymphetamine - the sound was once again made more mainstream and accessible, drawing a larger crowd, although largely I'd say the popularity also has a lot to with them signing to Roadrunner, one of the biggest metal labels of all time.
midian was the break through, in my opinion
Dusk and her Embrace... maybe
i think that was cruelty and the beast together with from the cradle to enslave.
maybe I am wrong.
Nymphetamine. I saw that video played so much! And tbh I liked it but I love there harder stuff aswell \m/
