Dear members, I just wanted to ask you the following thing:
There are many patriots on this site, I believe, and many of you care for your own nation. I see here in Russia that there's not so many people remembering their own Dear Gods and their own Faith (I do not use the word "religion" in order not to offend the true believers). But there are some, and I am proud to know this (there are some guys not registered on this forum). Is there anybody who remembers his Dear Gods? Any Pagans here?
Any link to the film?
Good point, be naughty and you go to Hell, or the other really scary one ... "No Christmas presents" ... Ohh, the horror!
As you said, most Christians and Muslims are mild and believe in peace and being charitable, why is it the small percentage that spoil it for the rest with their "hard-line" approach and cause so many problems? What they portray is violence towards non-believers not charity, they are full of shit and have no "real" concept of their religious beliefs, just using it as a tool for their own purposes and greed.
It is no wonder people in general get the wrong opinion of them and their religions. They certainly give the impression that they think they are better than non-believers!
Yeah, there are many many mild muslims. that do not like that kinda stuff at all. It is kind of hard to put an entire religion into any kind of category. I know some fear that if they did speak out that there would be some kind of reaction from their own community.
Also, almost every religion I have ever encountered is full of people that consider themselves "better" than anyone else just because of their faith. Ever met a Christian that didn't believe in Hell? And that unbeliever are gonna go there? If you have I would hardly call them a "Christian" because Christ, as well as Mohammad, heavily used this tool in theri teachings.
If I really mean this then I hope I am right about the nothingness that will await me. I seek peace. It is allusive in all but one place.
Or if you insist on watching it illegally ... torrent ... Google search. 'snot hard.

All so-called orthodox religions are in a sense cults as they involve religious practices of if you like, ritual behavior in some form.
As we perceive religion as orthodox using terms such as control, dogma and hierarchy as certainly defining the church, wouldn't it also define a cult?
So I guess you could call Theistic Satanism a rather large study group much like a music group who study, practice and develop rather than being a religion OR cult.

Even though it cant be considered a religion, as religions were made only to control mankind, i tend to sympathize for Theistic Satanism (and Paganism), there's no dogma to follow, no hierarchy to which submit, it's an individual approach to Deities and to arcane knowledge achieved through meditation, development of superior powers and study.
Atheism. Best "religion" ever!
I am a creationist-Christian and worship the Lord your God.
I'm an explorer. I like learning about different beliefs.
My husband is an atheist. I say I'm 'catholic' but I break too many rules pointed out to me by non-catholics. I guess they know better what it's like to be trve. \m/
My friends are diverse in what they believe.
What I can't stand is arrogance, lack of humility, preaching and negativity. I've done the rounds and these traits are found among all, including atheists. That's right, you can preach like a bitch that you don't believe in god. It's still annoying as fuck. I knew someone who was atheist who spoke of God more often in a month than I ever would in my lifetime.
Honestly I'd like to say I'm Agnostic but I hate that word. It has nothing to do with it's etymology (origin of the word/meaning). I like the explanation of god via mathematics as presented by Saint Augustine. I see my belief in 'higher power' as an 'if else' statement.
NB. I'm a nerd.
Oh and I don't like sheep, not the animal but the act of being a blind follower.
Like I said, I've been exploring different religions and I saw it everywhere. In fact in the pagan group I joined in my college years, there was a charlatan there who got some girls to be his little sheep and he raped one of them. I wanted to say 'I could have fucking told you so!'. Acting sheepishly means also without a radar to distinguish bs. Be wary of that shit!
It literally means "Without knowledge" which is pretty dumb in the sense that Agnostics are therefore inherently dumb. It is taken to mean NOT Gnostic which assumes "Gnostics" are learned or simply brilliant. Again dumb. Not sure where Gnosticism became associated with religion or religious study, but somewhere it did?
Sounds awfully like Moses David and the Children of God movement in the past. FFishing for God or Flirty Fishing was where the women/girls would literally fuck you (and your mates if there were others present) to entice one to join. Seen as the most effective method of getting followers by this clown, "hookers for Jesus" (the "bait" to "entice us "fish") would earn a higher ranking within the cult as a "deep witness" whatever that meant.
But what a prick getting young vulnerable girls to do this. Seems it is still going on sadly in one form or other from what you witnessed.
Honestly I'd like to say I'm Agnostic but I hate that word. It has nothing to do with it's etymology (origin of the word/meaning).

I'm from Finland (not Scandinavia tho) and yes, Christianity was brought here by the sword - as to many other countries too. I think here we have more mixed of old traditions/religion with Christianity than in countries that have been under Christianity for longer.
