Mine best gig was:
-RAMMSTEIN because of the pyrotechnics and a show.

-Cradle of Filth
The best gig I've been to is Manowar at the Norway Rock Festival 2009. The ground was literally shaking when they played.
I'm just making a list:

Sentenced (in their last tour), Manic Street Preachers (rehearsal gig in Helsinki before European tour so it was nice and small venue), My Dying Bride, W.A.S.P., Avantasia, Paradise Lost (quite in the start of the tour so Nick's voice was actually good), Placebo.

Those are the ones that came to my mind first.
TOOL 10'000 days tour in 2007 ... however their return in 2009 was even better. Which I didnt think topping the first one could've been possible. I was blown away for sure and since my first concert at age 7 I have seen close to 400 acts in a huge variety of music types. very close second sadly can never be an option for anyone to see if they werent fortunate enough to see them b4 their fall then tragedy, goes to Pantera.
Deicide! FUCK! Best show ever. The house was packed with wall to wall flesh. There was like 10 death metal bands that night. I almost passed out.
I flew to Calgary, AB to see Guns N' Roses about a month ago, they were fucking amazing. They are my all time favorite band, and it was my first time seeing them, i was front row, and they played 30+ songs, onstage for over 3 hours!
Saw Rammstein yesterday, and it was fucking wild. Best show I've ever seen.
I'll be back here after july 27. Coming back from Warped. Suicide Silence,WhiteChapel,Iwrestledabearonce,Bring Me The Horizon...Yeah,should be great
-Cradle of Filth (always -but the best at 2004,Budapest,Hungary)
-Iron Maiden (at my old hometown, Debrecen,Hungary)
-Specimen, Peter Murphy ( at Wave Gothic Treffen,Leipzig,2009)
My friend told me ss was great live and vocals sounded exactly to the album..but anyways, still very excited. I just found out that The Casualties will also be there :)
Love that song. Not their best though..but it has this heavy ass riff I love.
Actually, there have been very few incidences where Axl has 'thrown a hissy fit' or walked off stage, and maybe 10% of those were unjustified. The majority of times when he would stop mid song would be because the audience were fighting or being roughed up and people were getting really hurt, or someone was throwing something and the band/audience/crew were at risk of being hurt. Dude, he's thrown out his own security gaurds because they were too rough and ruining peoples times!

I think maybe twice there were sound problems and he was seriously damaging his throat because he couldn't hear himself. St. Louis '91 is the only major one that was unjustified. Usually, even if theres a rant or whatever, the show goes on.

And he's been in an incredible mood lately, most people think finally releasing the album lifted a lot of weight off his shoulders, he's seriously enjoying himself onstage now for the first time in a long, long time.

(Sorry, that might have gone a bit far on my part, oops)

That's not typical of Guns 'N' Roses ... usually Axl has a hissy-fit about 10 minutes in and ends it all then =P

Glad it was good.
