What Do You Want The New Album To Sound Like...?
What do you guys want/hope the new album to sound like?
I will be happy with anything that sounds like Thornography or earlier! Just please not another album that sounds like Godspeed and DDVA. So sick of their music sounding like those albums. Just boring in my opinion!

Midian or Dusk. Though, as you said, anything similar to Thornography or earlier will do.

Yeah, Midian would be nice as well! Just thought it slightly wasn't as good as Dusk. But, I don't know why everyone seemed to dislike Thorno so much! I think it's an amazing album. Especially, when you put the bonus tracks in discussion, from the special edition of Thorno.

Agreed. I've always loved Thornography. It may not be as good as some of Cradle's past albums, but it sure beats the hell out of Godspeed/DDVA.

Midian for me is still my favourite album sound and production wise so I'd pick that first.
After that the Bitter Suites EP, I adore the more futuristic keyboards and sounds they used for the original tracks on that one!

I love Thornography as well, it is one of my favourite albums ever, so if anything than that one.
But in fact I'd rather like it to have it's own style. I am looking very forward to it after what Dan has said in the latest interview. I'm sure it will be killer!

I'd like to hear something like BStS again and I'd love to hear a song like All Hope in Eclipse... it's such a great track imo!

But I'm happy with anything between Principle and Thornography OR something completely new and different (Godspeed and Darkly, Darkly were too similar IMO).

Something like Bitter Suites and Midian will be great too. I think what Dani says about the new album sounds quite promising. We'll see!

When it came out the purists went nuts, it was really hated on the old forum because it was not "Gothic" like the earlier albums, but I really loved the new tracks on it and loved the sound they used. They have never repeated that sound since then. Would love to see them step away from the traditional more orchestral sound and go for something a little more electronic and darker like they did on that one. All Hope, Born in a Burial, and Scorched Earth are some of my favourite tracks they've ever recorded :D

If I had to pick, I'd like something like Cruelty. I hope it doesn't sound like anything they've done before, though.
