what is that thing who always makes Cradle of filth special ?
we all knows how much Cradle of filth great and thats why we love them so much ..but of course there are many thing to make them special and different than other bands ...what is that thing ? and how ?

What makes Cradle of Filth special is a number of things. The fact that they are their own genre of metal. For example, like BETO said, they're not 100% Black Metal, Death Metal, Gothic Metal, ect. They have a different look/image and a very unique attitude. They give off a certain darkness, a certain vampyric feeling. When you listen to a CoF album from start to finish it's like watching a Gothic horror movie. As the album plays from track to track you visualize the picture and it plays out like a movie inside your head and sends chills through out your body. So far Cradle of Filth is the only band to have that effect on me

What makes Cradle so special is how they blend so many different styles together to create something truly unique. Also, the lyrical themes are probably the most interesting I've ever come across. Dani is a brilliant writer.

I agree with what you guys are saying. For me it's Dani's vocals and lyrics, poetry that paint a dark, beautiful picture in my mind. The amazing riffs and kick-arseness lol, the atmospherics, the thought, research, creativity and hard work the band put in to each album. Their appreciation of their fans.

To me, first of all the lyrics. It's intelligent, mystic, lustful, sheer madness, passionate, god-mocking and humorous. The same can be said of the music, of course. Complex, ever-changing rythms matched with an undisputed unique vocal.

Dani's lyrics are very original and unique.As for the music Cradle maybe are not the best in Metal,but they create an atmosphere that no other band can do.Ofcourse they are very much into horror & macabre stuff.To be honest when i heard them for the first time through "Cruelty and the beast" i was shocked.I never heard before such horror sound and i have listened that album for months repeatly.
