"Disconnect" by Megadeth would sound awesome covered by cof.
A song to totally disembowel would be "That's Amore" by Frank Sinatra

DO SOME Haji's Kitchen Im dying for one of their songs to get famous
Also maybe
Bride - Fallout
Limp Bizkit - Nobody Loves Me
Flaw - Only the Strong
DragonForce - Revolution Deathsquad
Candlemass - A Sorcerer's Pledge
What i want most in a cover song
no one knows the song exists like some lost demo
OR
If a label and a band had legal trouble and had to drop the song
Or just really take a song no one played that was good and make it better
Oh yeah completely Distroy
SpongeBob SquarePants theme
Permalink Reply by Garrett Padilla on July 20, 2012 at 3:15 I can't stress this enough, but I would LOVE to hear Cradle cover Savatage - Hall of the Mountain King
I would love nothing more than to hear COF cover Dimmu Borgir's "Gateways"... It would be too rad!!!
Permalink Reply by Managorth Anora on July 27, 2012 at 17:36 Extremely unlikely, seeing as Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir tend to hate each other.
Permalink Reply by Final on July 27, 2012 at 20:53 Both sides have stated several times that they do absolutely not mind each other, but I think that’s not true. In fact, I think it’s not easy to be in either band and not disapprove of the other.

Permalink Reply by Psychoscot on August 1, 2012 at 1:30 Correct! Neither band hates the other! It was a media invention, that for a while for a laugh both bands played up to! It soon got boring and both bands "tried" to move on! Unfortunately the metal mags are morons and continued to pester and soon the fans got involved! They are 2 very separate bands that have never sounded a like, but being both very successful within the same subculture they soon got pitied against one another by the media, much like Metallica/Megadeth, Motley Crue/GnR etc etc!
Actually if both bands did a cover of each other it would make the media look rather stupid, as still to this day UK mags often mention each band when either interviewing or reviewing! That must make both bands sick to death but not of band members, but of the media!

Permalink Reply by LUPUS on August 7, 2012 at 1:22 Hey , I'm back from the grave ... So covers , what covers ... !?!?!?
Deep Purple's "Stormbringer" could be nice, ... like in the "made in europe" live cd ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owKPpVr3lIU&feature=colike
Comin' out of nowhere/Drivin' like rain/Stormbringer dance/On the thunder again/Dark cloud gathering/Breaking the day/No point running/'Cause it's coming your way
Ride the rainbow/Crack the sky/Stormbringer coming/Time to die/Got to keep running Stormbringer coming/He's got nothing you need/He's gonna make you bleed
Rainbow shaker/On a stallion twister/Bareback rider/On the eye of the sky/Stormbringer coming down/Meaning to stay/Thunder and lightning/Heading your way
Ride the rainbow/Crack the sky/Stormbringer coming/Time to die/Got to keep running Stormbringer coming/He's got nothing you need/He's gonna make you bleed
Coming out of nowhere/Drivin' like a-rain/Stormbringer dance/On the thunder again/Dark cloud gathering/Breaking the day/No point running 'Cause it's coming your way
... ... ... and Siouxsie & the Banshees "Voodoo Dolly" , as any of the great songs played back in 1983 at the "Nocturne" show.It would be great to give this song a good cover.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4v0iVja6ZFk&feature=colike
She's your little voodoo dolly/And she's gonna make you lazy/Like the little drum in your ear/Transfixes you to your fear And now she's transfixed in your fear/And you know she's gonna stay there/Because her nails are deep in your hair/And she made you so unaware Are you listening to your fear?/The beat is coming nearer/Like the little drum in your ear/Transfixes you to your fear She's such an ugly little dolly/And she's making you look very silly/And when you listen in to her ear/You get paralysed with her fear Oh down, down, down in your fear/Down, down in your fear Now this little voodoo dolly/Has made you very lazy/And you're anemic from her sucking/And when your dead she'll find another Better break that little dolly/And sling her in the corner/Now she's a sorry little dolly/Such a sorry little dolly Are you listening to your fear/The beat is coming nearer/Like that little drum in your ear/Transfixes you to your fear Listen, listen/Listen, listen/Listen, listen...
More ideas on covers coming very soon ... ... ...
