Do you know if this book available in English language editions, or is it just published in Hungarian?
It would be interesting to read a non-fiction book on Elizabeth Bathory from a Hungarian's perspective. Freya said:The private life of Báthory Erzsébet by Oscar Welden.
I did a quick search too when I saw the title you mentioned as I hadn't heard of it before. I have almost all of the English language books on the Countess. I hope the book will eventually be translated. Failing that, I guess I will have to learn Hungarian. It is a beautiful language.

I've found Elizabeth on wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_B%C3%A1thory
At the end of the page you can see some books in English. Oscar Welden's is only in Hungarian...how strange..
