I like reading so therefore thought of starting a topic of what are you reading atm. I know there's favourite book -topic but would like to know what other books people read too. Have seen this thread on most forums I browse and found a lot of books from those which I've never heard of and would like to read.

I start then:

I'm reading The Undercover Economist by Tim Harford.
Nice point of views for example of globalisation and supermarket prices.

Finishing Neil Gaiman's Coraline today. Probably starting The Christian Myth after that.

I'm reading Incubus Dreams by Laurell K. Hamilton
General AP Hill "The Story of a Confederate Warrior" by James I Robertson...
this biography is my bible...after I read it I named my first born boy Ambrose... after Ambrose Powell Hill..
Currently I'm reading:
Paradise Lost by John Milton (at Night)
Definitely Dead by Charline Harris (at my Leisure)
Rereading the Succubus Series by Richelle Mead (at my Leisure)
All while trying to enjoy the wonders of college textbooks.
I'm reading Blutportale by Markus Heitz.
I started it but couldn't get past first 20 pages. Really hard to read that in "old" English when your first language isn't English.

Try get an edition that has notes on the text at the bottom of each page, makes reading it much easier. The Norton Anthology of English Literature is one that comes to mind.

Currently reading: Christopher Hitchens - God Is Not Great.

I cba to buy another version of the book so maybe on day I read the one I have :D
If I did speak English as my mother tongue it would be hell of a lot easier. My boyfriend read part of it and of course for him it was easy since he's English but he said he can understand it being hard.

And I'm still reading The Christian Myth, finishing it soon.
Reading Le Nez D'un Notaire by Edmond About for French oral exam, then I'll have to read The Immoralist by Andre Gide and Les Enfants Terribles by Jean Cocteau, along with two other setbooks this week for next Tuesday.
But I'm enjoying them so far.
