I like reading so therefore thought of starting a topic of what are you reading atm. I know there's favourite book -topic but would like to know what other books people read too. Have seen this thread on most forums I browse and found a lot of books from those which I've never heard of and would like to read.

I start then:

I'm reading The Undercover Economist by Tim Harford.
Nice point of views for example of globalisation and supermarket prices.

Reading two books (alternating days for each) Stephen King's Under The Dome and William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist which I have never read but have seen the movie well over 15 times by now, so it's a new book to me even though the novel was published in 1971.

The Sagas of the Icelanders

SYSTEMA The Russian martial system created by the Soviet Millitary for there special forces elite

AFGANTSY the Russians in Afghanistan 1979-89

Zen in the Martial Arts - Joe Hyams

The Supreme Way: Inner Teachings of the Southern Mountain Tao. It's relaxing in the morning when I'm doing my business before going to work.

The Shining by Stephan King

American Gods by Neil Gaiman

Stuck on A Feast For Crows (George R.R. Martin). Maybe one day I will finish it, compared to 3 previous books it's really boring...

I've meant to give the Song of Ice and Fire series a try after all the attention they've gotten, but not sure if they're for me and they are all very long -- I have little time for the dozens of books sitting on my “to read” shelf as it is. =P I wish I was currently reading something. =(

i read the perfum once again. love this book.

I'm reading Childhood's End right now, just read the Space Odyssey series, but it's a little disjointed because the author essentially retconned many events in the series.

gustav schwab-sagen des klassischen altertums...it´s about greek mythology.

I just finished "Alhazred" wich I have just been reading for the past 3 years (it was really good, once I was focussed on it)  and am now starting with "Intensity"...

I am reading "Metro 2033" by  Dmitry Glukhovsky at the moment. It´s about a young man living in the moscow metro after a post nuclear apocalypse. quite good so far,
