Permalink Reply by The Smell Of Rain on October 27, 2011 at 19:07 Yesterday I recieved "The Quantum Universe: Everything That Can Happen Does Happen" by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw and today I got the latest Dexter Book "Double Dexter" (by Jeff Lindsay) which I'll probably finish in a sitting or two as usual!
The other book will probably take some digesting and re-reading as I can't do maths to save my life! (Not that it's crucial in such a "Physics For Dummies" book like this!)
Permalink Reply by Lanval on November 13, 2011 at 18:38 The "official" new Sherlock Holmes novel The House of Silk. I'm enjoying it, but thus far I'm not so impressed as to see what makes this author more eligible to be authorised by the Doyle estate than other writers of Holmes pastiches I have read.
Permalink Reply by Felipe S. on November 16, 2011 at 22:55 I am reading From A Buick 8 by Stephen King. A crazy book, anyway, however awesome, like everything else by S.King.
Permalink Reply by BloodLust on November 19, 2011 at 4:19 Just started reading a book called "The Birth of Venus" by Sarah Dunant.
Permalink Reply by Duvessa on November 19, 2011 at 16:58 I've been reading young adult paranormal fantasy books lately. And demon porn. Need to get some free books to survive the flight to UK and 3h bus trip after that since I don't have any real books left. And cba to carry one on board.
Permalink Reply by Christine on November 20, 2011 at 9:46 I seem to read a few books actually. I found out, that I have apparently started 'Alhazred', 'Intensity' (I can't recall when I started reading either one of them) and a book called 'Wish u were dead', wich was so dumb I didn't manage to read on. Maybe I should grab one of them and try to finish it. *lol*
Permalink Reply by The Smell Of Rain on November 20, 2011 at 11:49 I just read "Against All Gods: Six Polemics On Religion And An Essay On Kindness" by A.C. Grayling. Loved it! A lovely little book that I highly recommend!

I'm also *slowly trying to read both the Italian and English versions of The Girl Who Played with Fire(Part 2 in the series), as i've been teaching myself Italian for a year. I'm actually not so bad at understanding and speaking the language, but I need to learn more about how the sentence structure works and bigger vocab words.
