I'm not sure how someone can despise Amy Winehouse but adore Adele since she's basically doing an (even more) watered down version of the same thing. It just seems to me that people who like Adele are people who haven't heard the really good people who cemented the genre over 30 years ago who she shamelessly rips off and adds nothing of her own.
Anyway, she's fucked her voice up because she doesn't know how to use it properly (oversinging doesn't = talent) so with any luck she'll be gone soon, just like the others.
(fun fact: she came from the BRIT School in London, which is infamous for essentially mass-producing "artists" for various big companies - it's the artistic equivalent of being a British politician who went to Eton)

There isn't anything wrong with Adele. Her songs are overplayed, but they are still good in my eyes.
I also like Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen (Alright Still days).
