The Principle of Evil Made Flesh

March 9, 2009 6:20pm was the first time listening to CoF. The song was Beneath The Howling Stars. I fell in love :D
The first COF album that I got is what got me into them and it also is still my favorite. It was also 1 of the 1st 2 cds I baught after I moved to VA (Cannibal Corpse's "Gallery Of Suicide" was the other) and that album is....."Dusk and Her Embrace"
Album was my favorite Nymphetamine:
I have their albums and outstanding (DVD)o(Mp3) =)
Mine was Thornography. A buddy of mine had Foetus of a New Day Kicking on a mix disc and I heard it on a lunch break. I now own everything I can get my grubby little mits on . Love it all.
first song i heard was nymphetamine fix
then i bought the cd and i loved it!!!!!
so i started buying cradle cds and loved the songs!!! specially the lyrics ^^
the first cradle of filth album i ever listened to was love craft and witch hearts, my favorite songs of all time are too many to count, but many of cradle of filth's songs have influenced my love for music and desire to work harder at my own art.
DUSK AND HER EMBRACE.

In 1998. I was 15 years old and I was being raised in a Catholic School (at that time I still believed in that religion) and I remember checking a Circus magazine in which I saw the Bestial Masturbation T-Shirt from a band called Cradle Of Filth and also read some news about the D.A.H.E. album from a 1996 metal magazine.

There was an older guy in the school (2 years ahead of me) that was into Metal and lended one of my teachers the D.A.H.E. album, at the end of the class the teacher showed it to me and I went "Wow! This is a satanic band! What are you doing!" (hehe, I know, pretty innocent 15 year-old) and the next day he told me that the music was very good.

Some weeks after that I went with a friend to a record store a bought the album and arrived to my mate's house without knowing what to expect, we played the album and we were blown away.
Some months after I got Cruelty And The Beast, which I enjoyed, but Dusk And Her Embrace still remains my favourite next to Midian and Nyphetamine.
damnation and a day
to be honest i didnt know of them before that it was my ex that introduced me to them
gotta admitt i must have been living under a rock all those years
C.O.F are fucking awsom!!!!!
Well, it was only a song that got me into Cradle. That's simply all that it took. It was Nymphetamine. I wasn't into heavier music back then, my friend showed me this song, and I loved it. So I started checking out Cradle of Filth, and I got into their album Cruelty and the Beast, which, is still my favorite album. That, and Midian. I love concept albums.
My favorite song from Cradle, would have to be Bathory Aria. It has been . . for a year, or two. Great song. Wonderful Album.
Around in 1997 I was with friend reading a metal magazine and I saw the Dusk And Her Embrace cover on an ad, i purchased the CD next day to see what is was like. After that I had to buy everything proir to it, it was great times for COF back on those days so are today
First I had ever heard of COF was in a plot analysis for Silent Hill 4. I searched the band name and found Her Ghost In The Fog. It was love at first growl. I went to the music store the next day and found the album Nymphetamine, and the rest is just headbanging.
cruelty and the beast....the first time i heard "cruelty brought thee orchids" i jus could not stop hearing cof... (excuse my bad english i`m from venezuela)
