Nymphetamine. And yes, I know... that's terrible. But I am working to expand my horizons. But that album got me through a very bad time in my life, so it's always going to be held dear in my heart. And now I'm going through another really rough time, and look where I turn. It's not any of my other beloved bands/artists. It's CoF. I don't really know why.
IT wasn't really an album, but I heard Sarah singing Nymphetamine and that's what really got me into the band.
I think it was either Bitter Suites or Midian when my brother showed it to me. I must've been eleven. Haha.
Nymphetamine is the album I started listening to a few days ago after I saw Cradle at Graspop Metal Meeting. They got me hooked from the second they got on stage and all the way through the entire performance, so I decided to listen to their music once I got home and I simply fell in love. I can't wait to discover all the other amazing albums
cthulhu dawn was first song i heard, it was a live vid and i loved it. so went straight out and bought midian
Cruelty and The Beast! Nymphetamine was the first I heard, though..
Dusk, but i did'nt buy it before 98. However i did'nt become a fan befor the Midian album.
Cruelty...
Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder

My first two Cradle albums were 'Dusk.....And Her Embrace' and 'Cruelty and the Beast'. After those two, I picked up 'From the Cradle to Enlsave'. I recall years before this, a girl showed me the photo's in the booklet that came with her copy of 'Dusk...'.

I first heard hallowed be thy name cover by COF, i instantly liked it...So i researched and the first COF song i heard was "From the Cradle to Enslave"...And that was it!...Got my first COF album Midian.

Midian. Bought it when it first came out (I was just getting into metal at the time) after reading a review in Kerrang. Listend to it once but didnt get it and didnt like it. Went back to it about a month later and after a second listen I strangely loved it.
