hard to say a favorite...but i just read anathem by neil stephenson and that shit was fucking good and suitably epic.
right now I guess it is THe House of LEaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
I read a lot of Terry Pratchett, love Thomas Harris and Anne Rice. Darren Shan is cool.
