Never answered what's your favourite song without hearing all the songs on planet? Or what album made CoF most famous without actually finding out what album sold the most and made them more known to bigger audience? Or you have left a DVD to store because after reading the back you thought it didn't sound good enough and then told your friends that it didn't seem good?

Those are opinions on something you probably don't know everything about. It's nitpicking but I can't believe there's a person on this earth who haven't given out an opinion based on partial information.
I don't know if you got me there but good try. maybe you have?
If someone was to ask me a question like what do I think is the album that made Cradle mainstream I could answer but at the same time accept its not necessarily correct, for example I have said the nymphetamine album in another topic on this forum.
Now the favourite song, thats a dodgy one. Its impossible for me to have heard every single song in all of history, fact. But I can have a favourite from my life time. You see I'm not saying its the best or worst song I've ever heard, that's an opinion. A favourite song, isn't that just a preference?

They asked an opinion on something in the what you think that made CoF mainstream and you (and I) answered to that (different albums tho) based on our opinion of what we've heard. I didn't check any charts of most sold albums or after what the fan base expanded. It was an opinion, not fact. So you gave an opinion of something you didn't know everything about.

It's not a bad thing, we all do it. I'd understand if Sean would've never even seen the book or not read it one sentence and he'd call it crap, then he wouldn't have anything to base his opinion on. I can't say is the book good or not since I haven't even seen it, I'm just talking in general about giving opinions.

This is going way too OT, if you want to add something then add. I just rather cut this here since I can go all night about this and as moderator I should prevent this kind of OT. :D
XD I agree. I'm trying to roll up a spliff and relax here heheheh! Good arguing tho, you certainly made me think! Plus I'm sure someone else will pick it up from where we left off hahahah.

Heheh, you go read the book and maybe next reply is about the book again. I will go to read some other book which I don't really know do I like or not yet :P

Yea. I liked Avatar. It's hard to believe that nothing has beaten Titanic in 10 years, but I know it's true. I REALLY believe that if they made Titanic II into a zombie film, it would be so awesome. All of the passengers coming back as zombies in a brutal gorefest=wicked. :c)
Terminator 2 is great! :D I'm not giving Titanic anymore chance. My sister watched it 10 times in a row when it came out and I had my enough share of it. :P Not even interested in seeing Avatar, could see it just for the special effects tho.
If you want to talk off topic, don't do it in this thread please. Take it to either general or a movie topic.
Well, now im proud of having the book for me! I mean, I feel lucky yet not high lighted as other people (That everybody knows) think.
Good Idea, I should do the same but I'm almost finish reading GOF yet is a great idea.
