no offense to the band..
but i just think the "crewdle of filth" want some more money..
which is fine. it could make them better in a way.. and we all like money.
but, i fail to see why there doing this.
I ordered the hardback edition within five minutes of reading about it :D. Still, postage came to £8.05, which brings the total to £38.05, including VAT.
This sucks dick.

So if I'm reading the info correct off this page. This book is the same as the special edition just with a blue hardback cover.

Wasn't the idea of the special edition to be just that? Not sell it cheaper but with some strange blue cover which isn't bad but you get what I'm saying, WTF???
yeah im really starting to hate on how all of the special edition owners think there so badass now for just owning the copy.. sorry, all i have is a 20 dollar bill. that wont get me the book. sorry i dont get paid everyday.

fucking cocky people these days.
OMG, I HAVE THE SPECIAL EDITION.. EVERYONE ELSE WHO DOESNT IS A JACKASS!

I agreed with everything you said up until this point. we're all here cause we are Cradle of Filth fans, no need to rank us based on whether we have the Bible Edition, the blue hardcover or the paperback. as Filthy113 said, this dirty move is on FAB's part.

In truth one could see the hardback cover as a weak contender for those weak masses who will never be on the same page as us Special leather bound hand signed bible edition owners. I think in fact the production of these hardcover versions will increase the special-ness of the limited leather bound books, they are the originals remember!
I don't have much money at all and had to sell lots of stuff to be able to afford mine. I nearly didn't make the deadline, so I feel really lucky to have a copy. I don't think I would have an issue at all had FAB press said from the beginning that there would be a cheaper hardback edition, which would also include the bonus chapter. At least then we could have made an informed decision as to which one to buy. I feel we have been completely misled

Calm down, I can only speak for my self and not anyone else. I feel lucky that I own a copy I saved my ass off to get my copy, I work as a chef and every hour and dime I earn, I earn!

My frustration is only toward Fab Press. And for anyone who owns a copy and wants to flaunt and be an show off about that yeah that's wrong! But don't get all pissed, at everyone.

Hahahahah! dude stay calm, I wasn't being serious. All I was trying to do was give the owners of the bible edition something to feel good about, in a funny way! It can work both ways if you try hard enough! these folk who'll buy the hardback copy can laugh at us who have spent quite a bit of money for the same thing! who's face is the egg really on! it depends on the the person. I won't have egg on my face because i'm happy with my book and i'm happy that the other fans (who are probably bigger fans than me) can now get to read the book.
Now EpicureAnne can read the bonus chapter for herself :P

That looks to me like it is a reviewers promotional copy of the book like the ones sent to magazines, websites etc... for review prior to the proper publication. Most likely it was a gift to the person in the picture from someone close to the band or the band themselves.
