List the things which you think are ...

Avoid painfully obvious stuff if you can (Justin Bieber, religion, people who don't like metal etc.) and avoid unnecessarily long prose detailing your reasons, unless you're challenged on something.

"Teenagers who think they know everything"   SO true.

Considering that there are studies out now that show that plants have ''memory'', soon that excuse will be rendered inviable. I can't eat meats b/c they are high in fat (as I no longer have a gallbladder).

If people choose not to eat meat because they don't like the taste that's fine, but if they say it's because eating animals is wrong I will twat them one lol!

The way this guy I used to date is treating me. Big whup, I'm friends with your little brother. If he had actually ever cared about me he wouldn't have left me just for that, no matter how much he hated his little bro.

*sighs*

Y'all will probably just think I crossed a line I shouldn't have. :(

Aaaaaaaand he just forgave me...WTF?

I don't understand.

Not really, I'll have as much contempt for those that don't eat planets as I do those that abstain from meat for those reasons lol.

But you have a genuine reason for not eating meats! which outweighs your moral objections ;D

So now horsemeat is legal in the United States. LOL

Now hillbillies can have cheaper meat stew!

I can't imagine horsemeat tasting good. Does anyone know what it tastes like?

Horse meat has a stronger flavour than beef but tastes excellent providing it's a good cut of rump. In Europe is not seen as a cheap replacement for beef, very few places stock it in the UK and it's far from cheap, it is however quite popular in France and is even used as the basis for burger companies meat there. It's not illegal here and never has been although it's rarely eaten and hasn't been really since the 2nd world war except in very expensive restaurants.

It wasn't actually illegal in the US, and was more based on a state by state rulings instead. Several area's of the US still sold horse meat legally right upto the November ruling making it legal again everywhere on a federal basis.

Bleh.

i've owned horses for years. I can't imagine EATING my horse after he finished being useful as a companion & work animal.

As with other cattle, certain horses are bred for eating. You wouldn't go riding on one as they have in general shorter legs to those used for pets or working.

I know there are certain breeds of heavy draft (Boulonais, Protvein) horses bred for eating, but here is seems like people are saying "Oh, my palomino's getting old. Soup's on!''

Still, I can't imagine horse tasting good.

Well people were also saying that PMU mares and foals (horses used to produce hormones for various reasons) could be turned into horsemeant for consumers, but those horses have been pumped with medicines and hormones and all sorts of shit. Who in fuck could eat that??
