Simple thread. Who wants Cradle to make another album like TPOEMF?

Simple yes or no question.
Hopefully it gets enough attention and they hopefully do it.
I miss their black metal stuff. TPOEMF is my favorite album... by far.
My other favorite album is their demo Total Fucking Darkness.
... Cradle..... please go back to your old stuff........
No more attracting Hot Topic wannabes please...

(Side Note: Dani never claimed they were even a metal band in old interviews nor a Black Metal one when asked around 96. He said it was mostly about music and atmosphere not necessarily metal at all. They were influenced by metal.)

I write, and one of the things I've noticed over years of doing it is that what you create changes over time. Even if you vow to yourself to stay true to whatever-have-you... doing the same thing over and over again just doesn't work after a while. It starts to get boring. And even if it isn't boring you, you find yourself stuck in ruts and saying the same thing you said before all over again.

I think if Cradle did "their old albums over again" it wouldn't be all that brilliant, simply because they already wrote that.

As much as I love that album and there other 90's classics, imagine this....

CoF makes the same damn album, album after album (like many Black Metal bands did in 90's unlike CoF). Hmm where are most of those BM bands now? In the crapper, unless they changed periodically like CoF did (Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Satryicon).

Besides, it get really BORING really FAST if they just made the same album more than once.

I've never gotten tired of their music.
I love Mayhem, specially 1988-1994.
I don't really like the new Mayhem line-up much.
The thing about other bands, is that they weren't as creative.
Cradle Indeed is very creative. But I would like them to make just one more black metal album.
That would be great atleast. Not remake TPOEMF. But a whole new album.

And Scott Milliorn. It doesn't get boring, because every BM had a different way of playing BM.
It was very magical. But damn.... I really miss Cradles black metal days, when they used to wear corpse paint. Fuck I loved Dani's lyrics so much.
Emperor is great too. So is Satyricon. .... damn I forgot what was my point, been thinking about a girl that likes me and that I like ((Kelli))..... 2morrow we are gonna roll and hang together :D
Today we hung out too :) Fuck I miss her already <33

To put it simply...
ALL (with the exception of very few songs) of Cradle's work is great. I'm yet to be disappointed by an album as a whole, despite what everyone else says I even enjoy Thornography.

All you 'fans' who keep sooking over how the band changes and adapts their style are just ingrate whining assholes. If you want to dictate how a band plays, gtfo and start your own band... otherwise just shutup and deal with the fruits of Cradle's hard work.
If you don't like what they're playing it's very easy to just change the song.

To be honest I think that Cradle Of Filth has made some changes but it actually sounds pretty good. So as long as they come up with good music I am happy and I can honestly say that I have been enjoying it.

Normally I just shrug off the people who whine about how much better old Cradle is compared to new(er) Cradle... but lately it's just becoming annoying how people can be so dismissive of Cradle's newer work.
They put a lot of work into every album they make and changing it up the way they do album to album is no easy task. Who are we to say "stop doing what you're doing and go back to your old ways"?
We are not their producers or their songwriters so it is not our place to dictate where they go with the next album, we simply have to sit back and enjoy what they've given us while we wait to see what wondrous new filth they have in store for us in future releases.
