Positives And Negatives About Masturbation?

I just started masturbating last December, and I am 16. I am starting at a very old age obviously. I have been made fun of several times, due to me never masturbating before last December. But, now I do it every single night. It feels really good. I wish I've been doing it for a while.

But, I was just wondering if someone could tell me the positives and negatives of masturbating? Is once a day too much? How often do you masturbate?

Hate those dreams ... from memory I'd try and stop it because of the embarrassment back in the day. Well, thanks Kevin and David for putting your feedback in. That's all I was asking for as I don't see the harm in making a thread like this. Most people do it, and it's natural. Erm 1 why spam a thread that obviously has nothing to do with girls, and 2 why would anyone google something like that, far better to ask opinions on this subject! a forum full of guys or various ages would give a far better answer than some "Ask yahoo" type answer :)
