Political Correctness
Anyone that listens to Cradle of Filth knows that political correctness is unnecessarily rampant. T-shirts causing arrests was bad enough, but here in the US people complain about their children failing tests, the movie "Avatar" was recently labeled as racist, and anyone who feels their feelings are hurt get rewarded. On the flip side, metalheads get put down by the religious and gay pride is openly supported. As a metalhead I am offended, but I have no say! The bright side to all this is that once these spoiled brats grown up and starve to death, the world will look metal, metalheads and rockers will be the only people left alive, and organized religion will die with their spoiled followers. The problem I have is the wait, and maybe someone should point out political correctnesses flaws, and fix it before the world flushes itself down the toilet to Hell... Anyone else have opinions on this matter?

i agree 100%. fuck, its just a waiting game. y'know whats funny though? its just one big fucking cycle! take this... in the early days of Rock n Roll, the 'rocker types' were bashed and labelled and all that shit, yea? well, come 1980, metal was breaking through. metalheads could call the shots and people who listened to Abba or whatever were looked down on. Now (for some stupid, fucked reason) hip-hop/pop shit is on top and metal heads get looked down on. give it time and we'll be back on top again. might not be soon, but its bound to happen.

I actually like all rock except for emo, and sadly that's the top rock genre, nu metal is also having a revival, but it's more annoying than disgraceful...
