I mean Godspeed was great, much better than Nymph and Failography  but adding The Death of love was such a disappointment.

Damn I wish they still had the same creativity like from '92-2001.
I love that period in Cradle's discography so much. I have been collecting everything from that Era.
I've spent at least $600 now on collecting rarities. Such as posters when they were going to play in Lisbon, Portugal in '94
I have TPOEMF in Cassette, Vinyl *spent $400 on that baby!*and CD *1994 press*
And the only demo I was able to get my hands on-
Orgiastic Pleasures Foul.
I love that demo, Foul Winds Threaten is one of my favorite pieces of music of all time. And The Graveyard by Moonlight is also amazing.
Good old Cradle.
Cassette players still have their uses!
Cruelty and the Beast was also such a great album, and Dusk. jadlfkjas;dlfjkad;flkjasdf;lkajsdf;lkasdfj

Idk. Not many Cradle fans seem to miss that period as much as I do.
Agree/Disagree?

I think they are more creative year by year. And mature. I like that each album is a bit different.
This.

Embrace the past, and welcome the future!

That saying applies to anything.

Oh and by the way, I like The Death of Love.

The death of love was great.Learn to appreciate it..If you like the demos and such so much, drop cradle and look for dead clown bands. No one cares how much you spent either. It looks like you made this thread to brag.
so the boys have grown up..but still i think after cruelty and the beast the music has chanced to hmmm..nevermind..i´m just getting to know the new album and i think the music is going more to that direction the way i always liked it.And dont get it wrong but jussi69 ,him ,are just faint reflection of that what filth is in its best..
Just what I wanted to say at first.
me too, I mean they're still good and Godspeed is amaizing, but they lost their touch, the one which was present on Cruelty or Dusk...and her embrace

Yeah thats pretty much what I mean. Just The Death of Love doesn't sound like every other album cradle has made with the exception of Failography.
Sorry but I don't follow dead clown bands. All the good black metal bands are dead (Except for Burzum and Taake...and Carpathian Forest). The new mayhem is just.. not mayhem, no one from the original band is no longer in the band and therefore is not mayhem anymore. Anywho thats just an example.
I appreciate cradle of filth but It does not mean I cannot dislike some of Cradle's songs. THat was such a big disappointment. I'm pretty sure you are a nymph/Thorn fan.
