I have 3 questions for you guys: What do you love most about Cradle of Filth?? What do you like the least about them?? If Cradle of Filth did not exist, what would be your favorite metal band?? Am most curious....

Just what are you trying to say here, Nox--That I look crazy like this old dude up there?? Huh?? Hee, funny!! To cradle of fish--Moonspell and Septic Flesh are pretty cool bands....Let me answer my own questions now: My most favorite thing about cradle is their videos, like Nymphetamine, Temptation, and Ghost in the fog--I love lots more things about them too, but, the videos rule...What I like least is when they tour in America and they never pick a city close by so I can attend a concert--pisses me off!! =-]

Beto is right!
At a party, play a random heavy metal song (doom, black, death, whatever). Some people may not even be able to recognize it. Then, play a random CoF track!!
No band sounds like CoF. Some do have a similar style but that's it!

Yes, I think Beto gave an excellent opinion and he's dead on...Out of all the metal bands I have tried to listen to over the last few months just don't add up to cradle in my mind...COF is a class act for sure....Eww, I have not seen Dan's short red hair--Is this recent?? I can't keep up with his hair styles cause he tends to change them too much...

Love most about COF ? Everything. The voice,the music, the dark sound overall.
What i like least about them is nothing except maybe the temptation cover and Dani's look at the moment (with short hair),lol.
If COF did not exist my favo band would be either Children of Bodom or Arch Enemy. I still haven't been able to make up my mind wich i like most.

Cool , we certainly have similar taste. I read above you said nothing comes near COF and i agree fully. If i would have to give percentages COF is 100% and AE and COB i would give 90% i think. COF is the only band i can keep listening to without getting bored of their albums after a while.
Plus the fact they don't sound like any other band whatsoever like Beto said. That's the main reason why they're so special. They transcend all musical boundaries. You can't label them.
About the hair: i was just talking about the look on Darkly already: Look at the pictures of the Darkly album: Dani looks like he escaped out of a mental institution,lol.
I think he has the red hair on the Evermore darkly DVD. I saw his red hair style in an interview with Dani on graspop in my home country the year the DVD was recorded there. (june 2011)

@ Mr. Sakana81: I will have to watch that Dvd again for sure--I obviously missed the hair on Dani...Yeah, I never, ever get bored with COF either...The whole band will always have my complete devotion!! =-]
