my predicument, please help me!
i love concerts and i was going to see a concert with my boyfriend (rammstein in manchester men arena) but the coach that we booked with have now cancelled due to lack of people on the coach from north wales. now we have 2 choices, fuck the concert and get my money back, they give us the ticket we paid refund the coach and make our own way.
the problem is me and my boyfriend love rammstein and really wanna see them (our first time seeing them) but we have no way in getting down anymore. we both dont drive, we dont have alot of money so taxi and hotel is out of the question, and we probally wont be able to get the last train home. and im also saving up for seeing cannibal corpse on the 9th march, when this concert is on the 1st march.
please help!!....

You might miss the last train but I guarentee you the concert with all their theatrics and pyro would be worth it ;) I saw them front row last year, best concert I've ever been to.

Rammstein are the best live band on EARTH! No one comes remotely close to sound and stage show! Missing them is like missing Pink Floyd!
Look online and book a travelodge which can cost as little as £20 between the 2 of you and just go home in the morning! Use your refunded coach cost on a return train ticket!

was gonna do that untill i tried to booked the hotel which came up to £75. (probally cos of late booking and shit, but that was a travelodge, and its the same price as premier inn :()and i know i have been waiting to see them for ages and the stupid coach has wrecked everything. and i dont fancy being in the city at night with no accomidation (i live in the country, not very used to cities)

Hmm thats pretty shitty of the coach company to only let you know a week before the event! I would demand compensation from them for that. They know well in advance if they can fill the coach.
Yeh thats the other problem letting you know only a week before, hotel prices double even for the cheaper ones. Even on Lastminute.com there are very few cheap hotels anywhere near MEN Arena.
The best thing you can do is go by train to Man Piccadilly and see the show, the station is open 24/7 and is clean and safe! I use it a lot. Just stay in the station and come back on the first train

do you think i could get compensation from the company? and yea it really pissed me off when i got the letter saying that. well my boyfriend and i are gonna try and get some money from somewhere. but if we dont i think we'll just have to stay in the station :/ not what i really wanna do but if thats the only way then i will. im not missing this for the world!

Please do not miss it for the world, even if you had to stay in the station, all night you'd be saying "Fuck that was totally worth it". There is no live performance that comes close to Rammsteins.

i know what ive heard about it sounds like a one in a lifeime thing, especially as its there gretest hits. there definately gonna put on a show without a doubt. im trying my best to round up the money :)

Saw them this evening and they OWNED IT! they have brought back the best bits from all the past shows and it was AWESOME! Best stage show by any band period!

Stayed in the bar for Deathstars as I've seen them before several times lol
They played for 2 hours solid and basically played all the hits, and for each of them they brought back the stage effects they used the first time they played it on tour! They had their main stage but also a huge bridge that comes down leading to a small stage in the middle! The flames were MASSIVE! seen them now 4 times and they have never had flames this huge!
