My Death of Love (A true story)
The Death of love, let's me start to say that this song means so much to me.
From the first time I heard until this day it has given me strength, but also assosiation, this theme of Joan and Gilles.
You see I have this girl, ukranian, more beautiful than anything, in my eyes a goddess, and she's going going to be taken away from me. By the force of this evil and cold people. And this song spawns forth the feelings in this situation.
My girl cannot stay in my country because of yet unknown reasons. The fatal answer NO. NO and NO.
We were going to marry, to keep us together, to feel safe and a unit of love once and for all. Then these cowardly people, hiding behind documents and papers and unjust law, want to rip us apart without a righteous reason or anything.
Thus I want, deep inside, to summon the ancient viking spirit that inside dwells. To gather my friends and allies to erase those evil forces from the face of our planet.
So with my love by my side, my valkyrie, my goddes, to give me strength and hope.
And if I should tire and want to rest, lay down and give up, she would show me her blindingly beautiful face and body and give me new spirit and strength to fight on and on, never ever give up. Only death itself could stop us. Still, after death, it's not over. I believe Love crosses all barriers, all borders, everything.
So Cradle's music and Dani's words and voice will give me strength in this battle until the final eclipsing ending that will come, for good or for bad.
Love and Hope to you all, in this darkening world, we will stand strong together and never give in. Never

Laura's right, I'm in a long-distance relationship and there are ways to keep in touch without being able to see him/her whenever you want.

Okay, look here: I am not incapable of understanding anything; I DO understand what it's like not to be with the person you love, I understand it all so I don't know why you are saying I cannot understand.
I did not even comment on YOUR story anyway! Geez. You misunderstood I think as my comment was following Laura's, that as mods, I feel that sometimes we are like the parents telling kids off and making sure they behave.
Do you/can you understand?
Good luck with your love, hopefully it will not in end in Death, metaphorically or truthfully.

Ok, sorry, it just felt to me that you didn't understand. Im in a very desperate situation and very strong extreme emotions comes to life and cannot always be controlled. Before I used to keep it inside, then I anvanced to scream it out by myself, then to my friends, now to almost anyone. I just thought on a forum like this, by a band that I admire, there would be people that understood extreme emotions.
I thank you very much for your wish for good luck and yes I understand its probably hard to be a mod on this forum. And it will not end in any kind of death that I'll make sure of for the life of me.

Ehh. The only good love song by Cradle is A Gothic Romance. If you count that and The Death of Love as love songs.

I disagree. A lot of their songs have love as a theme. Her Ghost In The Fog, Saffron's Curse, Nymphetamine, Swansong For A Raven - hell, even The Black Goddess Rises and Of Mist And Midnight Skies have a love theme.

frank perhaps im the only one who agries with you,partly...................
having extreme feelings is good and shows a person with heart and not only mind..........
and when having strong feelings you should never keep them inside..........
not having feelings is like a curse...........
strong feelings on the other hand are blessing...........
and people who listen to metal and/or rock should have feelings cause these kinds of music are feelings,thoughts,beliefs,wishes etc.............

wow i wish i could have someone who accually loves me and not just someone who wants to use me to make someone else jelious nor do i want somone who will use me to get over their ex. i no what its like to be in love whith someone and not be loved back! IT HURTS!
