I know, just teasing hehe.  Zodiac Killer always fascinated me along with anyone that was alive in that era that lived in California.  Ramirez was just (to me) a lost, pot smoking womanizer.
*lol* Isn't there a film about the Zodiac Killer? I think I saw it.
Yeah, its one point of view (Zodiac).  Their is still an argument whether it was that guy, or another man.  Hadn't seen the movie, but I think that movie was suggesting it was this person that died a few years ago.  I believe it wasn't that person, but another suspect that was a military personnel due to many clues given.  If that is true, that would explain the time lapses as well.  Also suggest that he did this very thing wherever he went, as in outside the U.S.A. which leads me to think he be the most prolific, successful serial killer in the 20th century.

Isn't that exactly what FBI and other special agents get paid to do- get inside the minds of psychopaths? People can be 'in-tune' with killers without becoming one.

I'm not entirely sure that is possibly without becoming one :P
Dirty Harry starring Clint Eastwood? LOL

I can't see the fascination, mostly these killers are attention seeking losers at best, true psychopaths aside which I would assume is some physical malfunction in the workings of the brain. Fascinating, about as fascinating as watching grass grow.

I'm wondering what her interest in him was in the first place.
Kev, you're out! *lol*
Well, our ancestors basically were killers in tribal time.  To survive beyond food, water, shelter, you had to basically murder.  People that were once breed and the pride of the tribe, are not "psychopaths" etc. is one way to look at it.  Can't just abruptly stop one form of human conditioning and expect it to cease immediately, if not ever.  I do think in some regards to what you said about a malfunction, that their is some trigger mechanism involved.
