Shawn said:well that sort of shit doesn't happen to everyone, i just don't find that statement all that uncommon for a teen
DarknessIncarnate said:Ive never had any of that when i was becoming a teen..
well im talking about 13,14..
Except a little depression, but for no good reason.
Shawn said:so in other words, your going through your teenage years

I have had some symptoms of Autism when i was younger.
not sure if i really do have it though..

Permalink Reply by Inhuman Affliction on May 17, 2009 at 6:11 I don't want to discuss this issue in great detail but it does make me curious that Autism is the fastest growing developmental disabilty in the US. There are many types/levels of Autism and many children could be classified as having "the symptoms".....
Why is it so prevalent? How many children are falsely diagnosed and contribute the apparent rising numbers?
Mental health diagnosis combined with children always makes me feel a twist of sorts inside...I feel sad for many children that have drugs shoved at them at such young ages....
This goes not only for Autism but for many other mental illnesses diagnosed in the very young. I'm talking about 4 or 5 year olds on anti-psychotics!.....I've heard of it/seen it. Don't get it. :\

Permalink Reply by charles. on May 17, 2009 at 19:07 My brother is Autistic and it was originally confused with Schizophrenia and misdiagnosed as Schizophrenia... (O_O) He actually has Asperger's Syndrome which is Mild Autism and is now considered a "personality disorder" according to modern psychology. It is known to evolve into Schizophrenia in adulthood and I personally watched it happen to my brother. It isn't caused by a vaccine but is one disorder that affects motor coordination and causes people to isolate and not relate to other people in early childhood, they usually are mute and indifferent and have strange obsessions and do not relate to objects in the same way others do, they have no facial expression-recognition and are cold emotionally and do not empathize easily, they cannot comprehend normal activity and do not play or enjoy toys like other kids... They act bizarrely and you can tell that a person has it quite easily.
My brother thought he was a bird and a wolf,.. he bit me alot...O_O
