Are all Cradle of Filth fans angry and crazy because they listen to the music? Do they all not have any communication skills? This is what my gal seems to think.

What do you guys think? I object obviously.

Well, if I understood the topic correctly...

I would like to share an observation.

There are many directions in music, in art in general, and in society as well. I've seen "representatives" of many "sub-cultures" in Russia and the Ukraine (I am not sure that it's the same in other parts of the world, but just sharing an opinion), and found out that the "heavier" is the music, the more intelligent are the listeners. They may be freaks, they may be badly dressed, some may drink hard, but almost all people preferring metal whom I know personally are really intelligent, broad-minded and not aggressive.

On the contrary, the guys belonging to hip-hop subculture are very aggressive, especially being in a crowd; and with most of them I have nothing to talk about...

Of course, there are deviants in all sub-cultures. Unfortunately, the focus of the attention of the society is always on them, and this ruins reputation of the other representatives of this or that sub-culture.

Hope that this is not an off-top.

Sorry for my broken English...
