Just though I'd make a discussion on what was your most recent film you've seen.. and then you guys could maybe type a brief plot line of the movie and then give your review, on how good you thought the movie was.

That's all I have to say..
I suggest ALL of you to see it...

LMAO! with the director of "The L Word" behind it, it may be post modern feminist where Chloe falls for a girl rather than guy! 15 year old girls making out! Much as that idea done badly would be Glitters wet dream I really wouldn't put it passed the director to push it to the limit of taste!

Hollywood really has it seems run out of idea's and won't take a chance on anything remotely new! I read they are doing a Hangover 3!!!! While I did enjoy the first one, to a stoned off his face immature mind it did have a few good laughs, but my mate still owes me for making me sit through the utter turd that was the sequel! I'd rather sit through the Phantom Menace than that shit again! Hell there is even talk of another American Pie movie FFS!

The original is iconic though, and heavily-referenced in pop culture.  I can't see many ways a modern remake will improve on it, although I can see how they might fuck it up completely. Ugh.  Can't wait for the Kill Bill-esque period at the beginning and the giant CGI monster hand of doom at the end.

Yeah I saw the trailer for the Total Recall remake.  Fuck it.

lol Constant on set tweets by her brother, yep yet another remake. To be fair the original is hardly a classic although it does have it's fans. The calibre of the main casting is good enough that I'll give it a go! I'd rather see this than that bloody Total Recall remake as I really can't stand Farrell and will never forgive Mann for casting that tosser in Miami Vice! lol

I don't know if it's so much that they're out of ideas or that they don't want to risk new ones.  They just want to make money, and something based on something which made money before (whether it be a film, book, video game, board game etc.) gives them more of a chance than something with no track record to judge it on.  It really sucks.

Yeh that's my opinion, the sad fact is the only studio that is doing really well is Marvel and they have characters that even if the film is shit, will still put bums on seats. Granted they seem of late to have had a good run with even Captain America being at least entertaining although pretty bland as the weakest of their recent films, yet as an Avenger was very likeable as a character. The trading cards gags were a nice touch and a damn sight funnier than anything in the origin story.

Video game movies have basically been all bad! mainly because they already are based on existing movies/characters most of the time! I feel sorry for Jolie as Tomb Raider had the makings of a good franchise if only she had kept her nose out of the directors chair and they had good scripts/stories to work with. The character herself is fine and workable and Jolie was perfect for it. The most recent one that has got attention is Assassins Creed which has been announced, now if done well could be brilliant as they had too much story for a video game and it was obvious it was film based. Trouble is, and I think we can both agree...............They WILL fuck it up! It has the makings story wise of a bloody good film and very controversial, but it will be watered down and shat on till it's a crappy version of Kingdom Of Heaven, which wasn't that great to start with.

I'm worried about the Assassin's Creed adaptation.  I can pretty much envision exactly what it'll be like.  Luckily there'll be a whole bunch of Assassin's Creed fans on my side - not so much with Carrie or whatever other film they're fucking around with.

Yeah, I actually can't name a single good movie adaptation of a game.  There are more good game adaptations of movies.

The Amazing Spiderman ;) great game and almost Spiderman's Arkham Asylum! Better than the film! lol

Apparently Shia La Beouf will be fucking for real in Lars Von Trier's new movie:  http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/shia-labeouf-lars-von-trier-n...

ADOW should be interested considering he's a Transformers fan.

I haven't liked Shia in anything, but I've got to hand it to him for evidently turning his back on blockbusters, and this kind of thing is a brave move for any actor.  Plus, Lars Von Trier hasn't made a bad film in a long time so I'm looking forward to it.

I will always remember Shia in his early role as Louis Stevens from Even Stevens:

The last film I seen was Donnie Brasco, to be honest it was a great gangster film, the acting from all characters was very gd. And it was based on a true story. I would recommend it to anyone.

Yep,i was amazed first time when i watched it.I remember my first thoughts were ,like this cant be good,as my roommate hyped it so much and we had so different taste in movies.

This movie must be really bad.

The only time I'd recommend watching Avatar is if it was in the IMAX or something, and even then I'd recommend leaving after about an hour.

Never watched Avatar, and seems like I never will...

Fuck me, Tony Scott's only gone and snuffed himself.  He hasn't made a good movie in years, but True Romance and The Last Boy Scout are both somewhere in my top 100.  RIP etc.

Yep gutted! He was one of my Idols growing up! Sad news!
