Just though I'd make a discussion on what was your most recent film you've seen.. and then you guys could maybe type a brief plot line of the movie and then give your review, on how good you thought the movie was.
Transformers : Dark Of The Moon = Best Movie Of 2011
That's all I have to say..
I suggest ALL of you to see it...
Even better than the blockbuster hit Battle : Los Angeles ;)

Was really controversial for it's time ... groundbreaking and if I remember you had to go to those specialist"cinemas to see it back then in Australia!
Fobos said:Yep,it´s unique,i think they should re-make it with the hottest actors.

Permalink Reply by Dark Ill on June 23, 2012 at 22:44 The story of O ,i have heard that as a book ,but didn´t know they have filmed it .I should really look more into that story.
I´m not sure about Emmanuelle,i dont think it was banned here,as i faintly remember watching it on tv ,when i was quite young.Just soft porn of a sort.
Australia sounds pretty conservative country in the end, gues the moralists are at loose there also. What i think has happened here is that, in general people are straining their morals as they are seeing the globalisation happening so fast in here.I think many finish people see the lack of morality ,as a problem of immigration. So people are coming more nationalists mentally.

Permalink Reply by Kevin Hall on June 24, 2012 at 3:59 I think in that way it is a small group of moralists still clinging on to old ideas that seem to go overboard and manage to keep these silly restrictions going. I agree with content and advisory warnings which can help parents advise or discuss but banning or censoring these days with internet access is a bit silly.
Australia shows full nudity and doesn't "bleep" swear words on TV near as much as the US for instance but yes it is still fairly conservative. As far as new movies we get what the US get with the same (mostly) cut.
Immigration, I imagine it is a throw back to the days of the "Decadent West" ideals infiltrating the old Communist Bloc countries? :)

Permalink Reply by Dark Ill on June 24, 2012 at 10:56 Yep, as for my opinion i think people should use their common sense in parenting issues with the media.Parenting takes time, its easy to just let the Tv and internet for them and relax after a hard labor in the office.I think healthier way is to find a hobbie where the social skills, that are so important in modern society can develope naturally in the terms of a individual and of course not to forget your own presense in their lives which is the most important thing.
I´m not really a judge in this matter, but thats the way i would do it or at least would try to do it.The time we have to spend earning the living ,would make me think twice of having a children nowadays. In the "dark" future i think it will be more of a priviledge to have children depending on your social class,by this i mean that the poverty will come more of a issue. There is simply no work for all people and what are we gonna do about it :]..

I know many that simply won't have children now and they are middle to upper class!
EDIT I have 3 boys and one is a Manager in IT and he has seen the wages drop dramatically as foreign groups flood the market here. The other two work but barely make much even though have qualifications.
