Last Film Seen...

Just though I'd make a discussion on what was your most recent film you've seen.. and then you guys could maybe type a brief plot line of the movie and then give your review, on how good you thought the movie was.

Transformers : Dark Of The Moon = Best Movie Of 2011

I suggest ALL of you to see it...

Even better than the blockbuster hit Battle : Los Angeles ;)

Aye. Given the hype, I was expecting it to be at least PRETTY good.

The film ruined the trailers for me.

lol Yes the sad fact is the trailers were better than the film. Wouldn't be the first time either!

I would give the film a 9 or 10 for it's presentation as it was superb on that level but on the rest 5.5/10 and 3 of those are for Fassbender's performance!

It's got to the point now where best I can, I try and avoid trailers. In the cinema can't be helped, I managed to avoid Spiderman for ages till the fuckers gave me a 3D one with Prometheus. Haven't seen any of the Dark Knight Rises trailers except the first one, and managed to avoid Ted for months till again it was shown before American Pie 4. All 3 are films I would like to see but would prefer going in without any trailer money shots!

The only trailer I've actively watched was the new Bond teaser, and I must admit hype or no hype it looks much more like older Bond. I am actually looking forward to this movie and lets face it, it can't be any worse than the last one.

PS if you think the Trailer to Cosmopolis is baffling, try the film! lol! I've not read the book but the friend I went with has so she knew what was coming! I enjoyed it, and old R Patz is turning into a decent actor the more choices outside Twilight he has made the better he gets. The whole film is baffling, but exceptionally well made. Took me a good 10mins in to grasp what was going on. It's overall tone reminded me of Crash more than any other of his films. It's very much a step back to his earlier works than films like Eastern Promises or A History of Violence.
