LAST COF ALBUM?!?!?!

Someone just told me that Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa will be the last CoF album! This isn't true, is it? I just died a little...

ANYWAY Yeah Mick Jagger's like 60 something and he's still going
Next album I'd like a concept about Carmilla.... yyyeah that would be cool

No more concept albums..
makes the album worse
limits and constricts the music ability to a smaller degree, since they have to make the entire album around one person or concept or whatever.
I did not like godspeed, because for one reason, it all sounded the same.
Which is a negative about concept albums,
they pulled cruelty and the beast off well, but that was when they were fresh and good.

Well they've only made 2 concept albums, one great and one that could use improvement. But if Dani's working on concepts already I think that's what he wants to do. I'm just speculating

No, "Damnation and a day" is a concaept album as well, so that makes 3...

Ok, I have the Sonic Seducer and I can't find that part. Where did he say that? Or is there already a new one that I missed?

Well, I guess that's in old one. I'm not sure about these new tracks, but there was definitely something about concept for next album. Or maybe I'd just put a bad mag's name, that's quite possible.

Or, Its going to be a whole lot slower and mellow, poppy-sounding like Dusk And Her Embrace.

Why do people often think that Dusk... was fast? VEmpire was fast. Cruelty and the Beast and parts of Midian (Lord Abortion) were fast. But Dusk... is, together with The Principle of Evil made Flesh, their slowest album, but also the most elegant one. Heaven Torn Asunder gives me the impression that Dani had all the time in the world to sing these wonderful lyrics.

Anyways, Dani said a year or so ago that he see's Cradle of Filth going on atleast 10 more years. So thats atleast 3 or so more albums.

well cruelity and godspeed are probably the ones your reffering too (also darkly darkly venus aversa is a supposedly a concept album based on Lilith), but each of the albums have some what of a concept like Damnation and a Day about the fall of Lucifer, Dusk...and Her Embrace has a lot of stuff involving vampyrism and demonology, Midian i think is losely based off of well...Midian and things that involve it. So they each have some what of a concept.
