Hmm, what is religious belief? By my phrase I meant believing in myself, believing in my own principles and ideals which are based on some moral norms, surely, on my own experience in this life. I'll explain what I mean by religious belief. You live and lead a normal life with all the "sins" that are normal for a life) And you believe in some Fair Power which is hidden from your eyes, but whose presence you expect to find when you are in trouble. So for me it seems that people forget about what they are used to call "God" when they are ok. But when something terrible happens they pray day in day out hoping to be blessed...Isn't it lie? Personally for me it is more fair to be honest with yourself and know that if you do something wrong it is YOUR fault and YOU deserve punishment. Nobody is responsible for your mistakes and it is your business to choose the way you want, the way you consider to be right. A human has the greatest power in his mind, the power that created all gods and demons....A man is the only master of his life! That's my belief)

What do you mean? I must disagree on that (if you mean religious belief).

I also believe in my OWN God. Life is empty without a belief, without a hope...
Atheism, or ''no god'' (from the Greek word ''Θεος'', or ''god'' in English) is the rejection of belief in god(s).
An atheist can believe in his own will or ability, unless he deifies his nature...

Is there a real atheism?

Are you serious?

I don't mean to sound condescending in anyway...

Thought this was a new topic, I guess I already commented on this "last year" lol
