Just thought we should compact all of these topics into one great thread.. Pretty much all new information regarding upcoming/or possible projects that are Cradle of Filth related should go into this thread.. Instead of having separate topics for each of them. These projects include..
Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 10th, 2011)
Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)
Cradle Of Filth's New Album (October 2012)
Dani Filth's Poetry Book
Dani's (Temple Of The Black Moon) , Paul's and other member side project bands...
And.. Future projects that have not been announced yet

Permalink Reply by Christine on August 30, 2011 at 7:08 Good point Kev!
And yeah, I guess Dani would find it very amusing to see his vocals constantly picked on... Wouldn't everyone? Hello!?!
Permalink Reply by Christopher Murphy on August 30, 2011 at 9:40 I've never said that!? I have never thought Cruelty were his peak for his high pitched screams. And I didn't say those screams on Cruelty were crap. They're still amazing. It's just that they weren't as amazing as Dusk/Vempire and I think Cruelty is when Dani's vocals start to slowly decline. Get your facts straight. Trying to accuse me of false shit. Learn how to read too.

To be honest, I enjoyed the raw demo versions more than the full studio album. It's like they raped the demos, removed all the awesome orchestra and released it. ADreamOfWolves, you were saying before how his high pitched screams were at his peak on Cruelty and The Beast, now you're saying that's when he got crap.
Permalink Reply by Jérémy Noyé on August 30, 2011 at 9:53 I really don't fucking care of other people opinion on that point, coz as Kevin Hall said, it's just an opinion and everyone is free to think all they want ! What I was trying to say is that Dani's screams were/are an important part of COF singularity from the begins of the band so it has its importance in COF music !
That said I agree it is not the perfect topic to discuss of it and discussing how it was in the 90's will make no info about how it will be in the future, I got my views on it as everybody but, really.....I don't care of what others say about it...

Yeah, but who really cares what other people think of your music? Cradle of Filth is my favorite band, and has been since I was 10 and going into 5th grade. I've taken so much shit ever since that first day I found out about them. I've taken shit from my friends and family. Saying they look stupid, they're emo, goth, weird, Satan worshipers, etc. Six years later, they're still my favorite band and always will be.
So, really.. You shouldn't care what people think about how "gay" Dani sounds. Because he sounds amazing, and they're just haters that want to fit in with all of the other Cradle Of Filth haters.

Permalink Reply by ADreamOfWolves on August 30, 2011 at 11:37 Oh, what about The Principle of Evil Made Flesh and the demos? His high pitched screams were higher than V Empire and Dusk... and Her Embrace so it must mean they started declining around that era.

Permalink Reply by ADreamOfWolves on August 30, 2011 at 11:39 You hate him? Seriously people, it's an internet forum. Stop bickering like you're actually going to change each others minds about things and accept each others opinions. Sean, if people think he sounded silly in the 90's, that's their opinion, and I can see how they would think that. For the record, though, I think his 90's screams were the best...
ADreamOfWolves said:He was saying how people made fun of how Dani screamed back in the 90's, they would say how his high pitch screams were gay and other stupid insults. A perfect example is you. You always insult Dani on his high pitch screams during Vempire and Dusk era. I never said he CURRENTLY sounds amazing. He sounds alright. But, back then.. He sounded amazing. So, you should just shut up and stop trying to instigate more fights. I hate you enough already.
Permalink Reply by Christopher Murphy on August 30, 2011 at 11:57 Clearly he could still do the high pitched screams in 1998...
