I'd bring a case of Guinness and compare music collections. I figure Dani's probably familiar with a few obscure bands that kick ass, and I might be able to point him at some stuff myself.
We could probably also discuss horror films, including Cradle of Fear and what it was like making it and what he thought of the final product.
If he's a big geek, which is certainly possible, we could discuss formal poetic structures - he's remarkably literate about constructing lyrics, but some people don't really like to discuss the relative merits of amphibrachic and anapestic verse construction.
Mostly, I'd just want to sit and hang out. If we got around to discussing Cradle's music, I'd probably recommend that he do some patently absurd things like dance club mixes of Cradle songs or covers of old disco tunes. I mean, face it, at our age... if you're still "into" black and death metal and the whole goth thing, it's getting a bit ridiculous, and you sort of have to poke a little fun at it.

I agree with Caliban, I'd really just want to hang out somewhere chilled (his house looks pretty groovy, yeah why not) and discuss all the things I want to know that interviewers never ask (they always ask the same fucking questions!)
Yeah, I'd like to talk about how he writes his lyrics and his inspirations, and generally just chat with him as I would with any person. Movies, music, literature ... all that shizznaz. I'd also have to ask a bit about vocals.
Yeah ... never gonna happen is it?

I know he is a big collector of antiques and items form out of the ordinary. I would love to go shopping with him to these different shops he finds and see exactly what types of things catches his interest. Otherwise would like to just sit and talk about everything, childhood, growing up, first band experiences, HIS family now, what kind of things they do together, himself, his wife and his daughter, (would love to meet Toni too!)....I don't know, I just don't think one day would be enough! Great question though! Great change from the 'How is Dani hot to you?' questions! LOL!

and i think caliban is so right! you do need to have a little poke around and a little experiment because if you dont your just gonna end up with the same stuff that you started off with.. if you know what i mean..every album should have its own identity.. and thats why i like c.o.f's music coz the albums arent the same things over and over again! caliban its a good thing they have respectible fans like us ^_^ laura-annexx

Wow there is so mich i dont think i could fit it all into a day! Mostly just hang out and shoot the bull I would probly take him to some of the really nice shops and what not. Probly talk about kids his daughter is only two years older than mine.
I have to agree with the others making fun of him is just not cool rammmses.

Depends on where we are spending the day since if I'm over there with him then he'd have to be the one choosing what activities we'd get ourselves into and so forth. If it's over here with me, I'd probably just chill out the most of the day and ask him a few things that I'm curious about. Probably take him to a few haunted spots I know of and take him out to a restaurant of his choice since everyone needs to eat lol. There's so much that I would like to do that would probably be a tight fit into 24 hours. BUT, there def. has to be some partying going on towards the end of the night :P
