It´s worth reading. If you read any of his works, it´s still the same. Whether there is one man, who experienced something strange and is trying to find the point(and when he finds it, he realises, he shouldn´t even start to search), or there is someone, who makes an expedition to distant, inhabitet and still unknown places (Antarctica, some deserts in Australia...) and finds something terrible and unspeakably horrifying. But the style of the writing is marvelous! It´s really worth reading.
May I reccomend particular works? "The call of Cthulhu" "The Mountains of madness" and "The shadow over Innsmouth". I don´t know, if these are the real names of the stories (I translated them from Czech), but it should be. Enjoy ;o)

Well, it´s true, in the time he lived, he wasn´t famous. But he predicted he will be more popular after his death. I would maybe ask him "Would you like to live in our age where a lot of people admire you and would you ever go to metal festival?" Well, it wouldn´t be bad to make some "Lovecraft fest" when I´m thinking of it...

So a lot of metal bands liked him, doesn't mean he'd like them. In fact, I think he'd probably hate modern music. Y'know, if he wasn't dead.

Yes, but I have some clue to thing that he´d probably like it. In his works he always wrote about "unearthly" or "unholy" music, namely the music of Erich Zann. Maybe he´d see this thought in metal, but who knows, only he in some deep part of hell maybe...

I think in all likelihood (IF he were to be resurrected nowadays) he'd probably just be pissed that a bunch of people in corpsepaint and leather were stealing ideas from him and screaming about it.

Well it is also possible. If I were him, I´d be happy but who knows? He was English gentleman and naci so who knows...
