We(throne of malediction) are sorta black metal(we are told) and do a cradle cover too. also, Hecate Enthroned, as mentioned below...They kick ass and are nice guys. also Netherbird kicks ass too, they have Adrian Earlandssen(spelled right? used to be cradle of filth drummer) also check out Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult ,they have the sickest black metal female alive!!!

On the first album yes, but they stripped away all of the black metal for albums 2 and 3 and most of the industrial touches are at a minimum now. I agree with most crtitics that they started as a crossover band but now they are purely death metal.

lol try it, pretty crazy shit, especially when they first came out.

Here's what Wikipedia says if you wondered :

"Burzum is a musical project by Varg Vikernes (originally under the pseudonym "Count Grishnackh"). It began during 1991 in Bergen, Norway and quickly became prominent within the early Norwegian black metal scene. During 1992 and 1993, Burzum recorded four albums; however, in 1994 Vikernes was convicted and imprisoned for the murder of guitarist Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth and the arson of several churches. While imprisoned, Vikernes recorded two albums in the dark ambient style. Some critics argue that Burzum helped popularize the racist musical genre known as National Socialist black metal."
